We all value our independence, but as we get older keeping up with things around the house might be more difficult. Even more so if we are living alone.

Family and friends help, but sometimes a little extra support is needed to make a difference. Laundry, errands, changing bed linens, cleaning a bathroom, preparing a meal or washing a few dishes. None of these are big tasks, but together they can add up over the weeks, months and beyond.

With just a couple of scheduled visits a week an In-Home Caregiver can help you or your loved one keep up with some of these regular tasks, preserve your time and energy, and maintain your independence.

It may be better to ask for help too early than to ask too late and risk falling behind. Keeping up, doing a little bit over the long term is playing the long game to maintaining health and independence.
